The Opportunity
Every home we build starts on your screen. As our Drafter in Davanagere, you'll turn client requirements, architect sketches and engineer mark-ups into clean, accurate AutoCAD drawings. Our sales, site and approval teams depend on those drawings. You'll work with our architects, our structural engineer and the Senior Civil Consultant on real residential projects, from first floor plan to the final set issued to site.
What Your Week Looks Like
- Draw 2D floor plans, elevations and sections from client briefs and architect sketches
- Prepare working drawings and sanction (approval) drawings for local authorities
- Draft structural drawings from the engineer's inputs: column layout, footing, beam and slab details
- Draw electrical, plumbing and centre-line drawings for site
- Prepare Vastu-based layout options and plot layout drawings when needed
- Turn revisions around quickly from client, architect and engineer mark-ups
- Keep drawing sets organised, numbered and issued to site on time
Software Skills
You'll Do Well Here If You
- Hold a Diploma in Civil, ITI Draughtsman (Civil), BE Civil or B.Arch
- Have 1+ year of drafting residential buildings
- Are strong in AutoCAD 2D: layers, dimensions, blocks, layouts and plotting to scale
- Can read architectural and structural drawings, and know footing, column, beam and slab basics
- Know standard sizes for doors, windows and staircases, plus basic setbacks and Vastu
- Are careful with details and quick with revisions
- Speak Kannada comfortably and can read English drawings and notes
- Are based in Davanagere or ready to move here
- Not a fit if: your drafting experience is only mechanical, product or piping, or you haven't drawn real building projects in AutoCAD
